thrive in your work, held by community
We’re not made to achieve it all on our own, we’re designed to survive and thrive in community - and in true connection with our natural world.
This is a coaching programme with a difference.
You’ve already taken the first, very brave, step into working in a different way. And it’s really hard doing it on your own.
You might have just started out, still figuring it out, or may be a number of years in.
Perhaps you’re…
feeling lost or without structure;
led by external markers of success, and the ‘rules’ we’re supposed to play by are stymieing your magnificent dreams and visions;
led more by your inner critic than your inner wisdom;
not making enough money;
feeling that you don’t have enough time or energy to bring your passion to life;
finding that fear is holding you back from stepping forwards;
done with the narrative of productivity and exponential growth;
The ultimate cost of this? We may well give up, disappear into burnout, lose out on opportunities, and the world misses out
This is for you if:
You want to grow and develop your work sustainably - financially and energetically
You want to be guided more by inner wisdom that external expectations or ‘shoulds’
You want a container in which to explore, to calibrate, to play and learn - as you grow your work
You want less strive, and push, and hustle - and more organic growth
You want to manage your time and energy effectively so that you can grow your work without sacrificing your needs, or those of your family
You work for yourself, and want to be connected to and supported by a community of amazing women who have also burst out of the bubble
You need to create a new structure for operating, one that listens to cyclical energy, not a drive for rapid, exponential growth
You want to change your relationship with societal expectations, to let go of your ‘good girl’ conditioning, and to bring this into your work
You are passionate about being a part of a bigger change, in your own way; a move from a patriarchal, extractive way of operating, to a kinder, sustainable, more ethical way of working
You want to be able to sleep better at night, trusting that you have the pieces in place - or that you have the capacity to craete them
You want to share your message, unapologetically
You want to feel that you work in a way that is aligned with your values
‘The work we have to do can be seen as a kind of coming alive. More than some imperative, it’s an awakening to our true nature, a releasing of our gifts’
~ Joanna Macy

FAQs
Is this a business coaching programme?
This is not a traditional business coaching programme. But its purpose is to guide, support and resource you as you grow your work. This is about not only the how and why you do your work, but also your relationship with it.
I’m currently spending part of my time building something and part-time in other employment: does this programme apply to me?
YES. So, so many people do things incrementally for a number of reasons and that is brilliant if it’s the right thing for you. It’s what I did, alongside my teaching.
This feels right for me, but am I ‘wild’ enough to join?
There are so many misconceptions and tropes around the ‘wild soul’ or ‘wild woman’, including an all-or-nothing image of it. Ultimately, being wild is being YOU: the whole you, your version of you (which is all we can ever be). It means stepping into this by growing awareness of our conditioning, of shifting our relationship with this, through deepening connection to the natural world, to ourselves and to our communities. This is what we’ll be doing in the programme.
Do I need to be doing a specific type of work in order to join?
This is designed for women working for themselves or running small businesses, charities or CICs. Within this scope, it’s exciting that there will be a range of specialisms!
Will everyone be at the same stage?
One of the things that will make this a vibrant, wise and supportive space is that we’re all on our own paths. Having said this, everyone will have already taken the first step into working outside of the ‘mainstream’. This is a “I’ve leapt, and now need to make this more sustainable, resourcing and successful on my own terms’’ programme, rather than a “I really want to leap, but haven’t been able to yet” programme.
Will sessions be recorded?
Yes, all sessions will be recorded and available to you via a private shared space
I love the look of the content, but can’t take part live, does that matter?
Over the course of a year, there will inevitably be sessions that you can’t attend and this will be the same for others. If you don’t take time off during the year, I’ll be encouraging you to! However, at the core of this programme sits connection and group support, and therefore you need to be able to commit to attending the majority of the sessions. This is for the benefit of both for you and the other participants.
How many people will be in the group?
A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12
I’m neurodivergent, will this be an aware and accepting space?
Absolutely. A high percentage of entrepreneurs and self-employed people are neuro-divergent and at least 50% of the people I work with individually and on my group programmes are so. I’m currently exploring my own very likely ADHD. Neurodivergent people are creative and innovative and I feel excited and privileged that I get to support the people I work with in bringing amazing projects to fruition.
Why is this cheaper than a lot of programmes of this kind?
I’ve consciously costed this at a level that I hope will make it more widely accessible to amazing women doing all kinds of powerful, essential work in our world.
I know my value, it’s not priced more reasonably because I don’t. Simply, I believe that many programmes are over-priced and over-promising and that’s not how I operate, in my work or any other part of my life.
Why don’t you begin in January, like most year-long programmes?
One of the central tenants of this programme is to be more in tune with the natural world and with cycles, including seasonal ones. I’ve made a conscious decision in designing this, to eschew the 1st January ‘new year pressures and instead to begin as the days darken and, according to the Celtic wheel of the year, the year begins.
Will I make progress in all areas?
Honestly, I don’t know. Maybe not what you expected me to say. I’m not someone who makes promises about the outcomes of working with me. Why not? Because there are so many factors involved. To name a few:
We’re all different
What looks like success for you is different to success for me or anyone else
We are not machines and progress is not linear or at a specific speed
You may focus more deeply on some areas than others, as they’re what you need to prioritise
While a framework is important, life is both messy and magical. Things will happen, appear, grow, surprise you. This work is both light and its deep: one of the essential elements to it (and to work that doesn’t follow strict institutional guidelines) is openness to and comfort with change and not-knowing
There is something of the ineffable about the work we’ll do - and what that will bring for you, I don’t yet know
